Background 

My name is Massa Lemu. I was born on the 4th of November 1979. I come second in a family of five children.

I got interested in painting and drawing at an early age in primary school. My uncle was an excellent artist and i used to watch him work with his brushes and paints until late in the night.

My formal training in Fine Art started when i went to secondary school, in 1994, at Chichiri, where they introduced me to diffrent styles and techniques.

At Chancellor College i studied all the Fine Art courses offered, honing my practical and intellectual skills under the tutelage of Samson Kambalu, Willie Nampeya and Louis Dimowa.
